Lazy Saturday....

Yesterday was a wonderfully lazy Saturday. We had lots of fun! First Abby discovered her new favorite thing to eat - avocado!!! First her favorite was mashed banana but then she tried some peaches. But now that she's had avocado...well you can see for yourself...

What a happy mess! Still not exactly sure how she got so much above her eye.....

After our avocado breakfast we all loaded up and took the dogs to the dog park. We strolled around the park for a little while and then went to the off leash area. The dogs were so pooped from our stroll that they really didn't do much playing. They chased the ball a little bit and otherwise just sat off in the shade. Totally ignoring the other dogs at the park. So we decided that they could do that at home...and we could be in the air conditioner :) So we loaded back up in the car.

Abby thought she was cool to drive....

Just driving home....

Gotta turn on my blinker....

What?? Is this not cool for me to drive???

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon, napping, playing and lounging. It's so nice that Abby is old enough to do a little lounging. Here she is playing with Ladybug (thanks Baby Liam!) and Livi Bitty Baby (thanks Great Aunt Liz and Cousin Becky!). Mommy is lounging, resting and watching a little Seinfeld reruns. We'll have to cut those off when Abby starts to pay attention :)
