Happy 1/2 Birthday Abby!!!

Dear Abby,

Today is your 1/2 birthday!!!

We can't believe that you are getting so big!!! Six months ago today you joined our family and you made us complete. I hope that you are enjoying us as much as we are enjoying you! We promise we are trying our best to not screw you up!

Here are some of the things that you can do now that you are 6 months old:

• You can squeal and you love it. You like to get people's attention.
• You love to talk and visit. You are definitely a social butterfly.
• You love to eat and eat and eat. We haven't found any food yet that you don't like or that has made you gag.
• You love bathtime and you love to kick and swim.
• You are scooting!!! You are definitely mobile and we've had to baby-proof the house!
• You have noticed the animals. You love the doggies and Pawk-y now and everytime you see them you squeal.
• You love your cousins. Once again, when you see them either in person or on the webcam you get so excited you jump up and down and squeal!
• You've discovered that your legs jump and up and down and that's fun! You could jump for hours if mommy and daddy's arms would let you!
• You are outgrowing your reflux!!! YAY ABBY! Mommy and Daddy never thought there would come a day that didn't involved countless outfit changes and choking. Hopefully when we go to the doctor on Friday he'll let you stop taking your medicine.

Those are just some of the things you're doing. We are so excited about all these new changes and new accomplishments. Tiny things change every day and we have to be careful to pay attention. You are growing into a wonderful little baby girl and we can't wait to see what you'll do over the next six months.

We think about our lives before you were here and how different everything was then. You are our sunshine, our little Applejack and we love you so very much.
